Employer check
One report on one employer, from the sponsor register, Companies House and government records, with what is worth looking into listed first.
One payment for one company. The price shows in your currency before you pay.
Each section says where its facts come from. Sections marked “Matched” link a record to the sponsor by name, and the report tells you to check those against the source.
Up to 6 short sentences about the facts in the report. Each sentence links to the section or public source of its facts. Code removes a sentence that cites no fact, uses a number its facts do not have, or uses words of judgement or advice.
Source: The facts in the report only.
AI can make mistakes. Check each sentence against the source it names.
Facts from the sections below that people usually want to look into. For example: a company less than 2 years old, overdue accounts, a Gazette notice, a B rating, many director changes or office moves in 12 months, or 5 or more sponsors at one registered address.
Source: The sections below. The list names what the records show and gives no verdict.
Whether the company is on the register on the report date, and each route it holds with its rating.
Source: The Home Office register of licensed sponsors.
The earliest copy of the register that lists the company, then each rating change, route added or removed, removal and return, with its date.
Source: Daily copies of the register from January 2023 and our own daily copy since then. Where we have no copy for a period, the report says so and shows a change in that period as a date range.
The register lists no company numbers, so the copies are joined by the sponsor’s name.
Decisions that name a respondent we matched to the company, with the date, the country, the type of claim and a link to the decision.
Source: Employment tribunal decisions published on GOV.UK.
Matched by name and details. A match can be wrong, so open each decision to check that it is this company. When a name has many records, the newest are checked first and the rest at the next build.
Whether the company is on a government list of employers that paid workers less than the minimum wage, with the round, the date and, where the list gives them, the amount owed and the number of workers.
Source: The naming lists published with each round.
Matched by name and details. A match can be wrong, so open the list to check that it is this company.
Company number, status, date of incorporation and age, registered office and how many other licensed sponsors use it, whether accounts or the confirmation statement are overdue, insolvency history, charges, previous names, and the address changes, officer filings and Gazette notices of the last 12 months.
Source: Companies House, read when the report is built. If Companies House does not answer, the report uses our last copy of the record and says so.
The register lists no company numbers, so we link each sponsor to its Companies House record. Check the company number in the report against the employer’s own documents.
The company next to the share of licensed sponsors with a lower figure, on: company age, time on the register, rating, route and listing changes, director appointments and resignations in 12 months, registered office changes in 12 months, recent accounts filed more than 30 days late, and job adverts in 180 days. Director changes and adverts are compared with sponsors that have a similar number of directors.
Source: Companies House, the register and the job adverts we collect, compared every night. A comparison shows only when there are at least 200 sponsors to compare with. It is not a score.
How many directors serve, how many were appointed and resigned in 12 months, and for up to 6 serving directors: role, date appointed, how many other companies they are an officer of, and how many of those are dissolved or in liquidation.
Source: Companies House officer records.
How many adverts we matched to the sponsor in the last 6 months, the typical starting salary in them, and the 5 newest titles with their dates. Also the number of visa experiences and questions members have shared about the company.
Source: The job adverts we collect.
Adverts are matched to the sponsor by its name on the register.

Yes. Tribunal decisions, minimum wage lists, job adverts and the Companies House record are linked to the sponsor by name and details, and a link can be wrong. The AI summary can also be wrong. Each item links to its source so you can check it, and the report has links to tell us about a problem.
