ImmigrationGPT gives information about UK immigration, not advice on your own case. It is independent and not part of the Home Office. Under section 84 of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999 only regulated advisers and lawyers can give immigration advice; for your own case, find a regulated solicitor.

Contains public sector information licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0, including GOV.UK guidance and the Home Office register of licensed sponsors.

From the Home Office register, synced twice a day

Know the day your sponsor’s licence changes

If your employer’s licence is revoked, your visa is at risk and the clock starts from the Home Office letter. Watch the company and you hear the same day, not weeks later from a colleague.

Find your employer See recently revoked sponsors

How it works

  1. 1

    Find your employer

Search the register by company name. Its page shows the licence, the rating, the routes and the Companies House record.
  2. 2

    Press “Watch licence”

It takes a free account. Add your current employer, the one you’ve applied to, and any you’re considering.
  3. 3

    Get told when it changes

An email and an app notice the same day the register changes, with a link to what the rules say happens next.

What GOV.UK says happens after a revocation

Sponsored workers usually have their permission shortened to 60 days, to find a new sponsor, switch visa or leave. The 60 days run from the Home Office letter, not from the day the register changes, which is why hearing early matters.

Questions people ask

How quickly will I hear?

+

We copy the Home Office register twice a day and compare each copy with the last. When your employer’s entry changes, the alert goes out within the hour: an email and a notice in the app. The Home Office itself updates the register on working days.

What counts as a change?

+

The licence removed from the register, the rating moving from A to B, or a route (such as Skilled Worker) added or taken away. If an employer reappears, you hear that too.

What happens to me if the licence is revoked?

+

GOV.UK says the Home Office will usually shorten your permission to 60 days, starting from when it writes to you, unless your permission was due to end sooner. The company page for a revoked sponsor shows that count, licensed sponsors nearby that are hiring, and regulated solicitors you can contact.

Is it really free?

+

Yes. Watching up to 5 companies is free, and your own employer is always free on top of that. Plus removes the limit.

Does my employer find out?

+

No. Only you can see which companies you watch, on your own profile. Other members and the employer are never told.

Also free

  • Check a job offerPaste an advert, offer or message in any language. See the employer on the register and the warning signs.
  • Visa timelineYour dates in one place, how long you’ve waited, and reminders before your permission ends.
  • Visa experiencesHow long the certificate and the decision took with each sponsor, from people who went through it. Ask them anything.
