Family Support Worker Relief

Youll support children with disabilities, young people and families with practical, emotional and holistic help that makes a real difference. We have opportunities in Dumfries, Annandale & Eskdale No two days are the same. One day you might help a young person build confidence through activities; the next, you could be shaping outcome plans that help them thrive. Every day, your work will matter. Relief posts flexible shifts that fit around other commitments Evenings from 3:30pm until 8:30pm Weekends- 3-to-5 hour shifts on Saturdays & Sundays What better to do with your spare time than earn some extra money and help people in your community! What youll do - Build trusted relationships with children, young people and families - Offer practical and emotional support tailored to individual needs - Help young people grow in confidence, resilience and life skills - Work with a warm, supportive team - Create lasting, positive change for the people we support What were looking for Caring, patient and a great listener Passionate about supporting children, young people and families Flexible, creative and ready to get stuck in Available for evenings and weekends Confident working independently and as part of a team Please note you must be a driver with access to your own vehicle to be considered for this role. Experience in family support, social care or community work is helpful, but empathy, curiosity and a genuine desire to help others grow are just as important.
